So, Miles and I have not left the house except to go to the doctor in the past four days. I am still not letting him jump in his bouncer, which is his usual form of entertainment. I can tell he is getting restless. At less than seven months old, my child gets bored very easily.
One new form of entertainment that he loves, is baths. This has been an activity that does not exert a lot of energy and he just loves. So, I have been giving him several baths a day, just to relieve some of his boredom.
Last night, I was desperately trying to watch the Alabama vs. LSU game, and resorted to putting my child in a laundry basket for entertainment. I told him it was a boat and he thought it was really fun. I gave him his plastic keys (the best $1.39 I ever spent) and he giggled and played next to me for about ten minutes. Then, he decided he had had enough of playing boat, and reached his arms up for me to pull him out.
So far, Miles has been able to keep two bottles down today. I am hoping we are on the mend. I think both of us need to get out of this house!
