We've been hanging out at the creek in front of our house a lot... it's the perfect place for your boy to be a boy... I love the dirty butt and muddy boots in this picture. He likes to roll around in the dirt!
Miles and Carson invented a new game where they try to throw acorns into a hole in a tree. They could do it for hours if we let them. Occasionally, they would stop, bang their heads on the tree, and say, "I'm a woodpecker!"
If you have a little boy, you have to get him a John Deere Gator... you just do.
'Cause if you don't, he will be the only boy in the neighborhood without one...
Luckily I got mine for 40 bucks at a garage sale... because otherwise Miles would be the only boy in the neighborhood without one.
Here are a few things Miles said yesterday...
Me: Miles, do you want to go to dinner with Mommy?
Miles: Go on a date?
Me: Yes, Miles and Mommy will go on a date! Just you and me! Won't that be fun?
Miles: Can Addison come too?

Walking outside, the weather was just perfect. Miles said, "Mama, it's not too hot. It's not too cold. It's just warm."

And, finally, here is Miles's prayer from last night:
"Dear God, Thank you for Mama. And Miles. And Daddy. And Pop. And Gigi. And Grandpa. And Mimi. And Baby. And Cats. And Dora. And Monkeys. And Baby Bugs. Love you! Amen."
